Synopsis
The visit will bring young and old closer to the works of contemporary art in the Venaria Gardens. We will admire Giuseppe Penone’s installations among real trees and bronze copies, human figures and footprints hidden in nature; we will get closer to the stars thanks to Giovanni Anselmo’s work; we will go in search of the extraordinary metamorphic creatures, suspended between myth and fairy tale, created by Luigi Mainolfi.
And then we will encounter gigantic insects created by the the Turin-based artist artist Hilario Isola and discover the installations created with natural materials taken from the site and assembled by international artists for the Venaria Green Art festival. At the end of the visit, the children will be involved in a fun game that will allow them to explore the works of Giuseppe Penone up close and collect natural elements to create their own ‘green’ contemporary artwork.
